Hotel details and live room availability for assistants, apps and agents. Read-only, no key needed.

How booking works

Agents can check availability and prices, then give the guest the checkout link for the rate they choose. The guest confirms and pays on the hotel's booking engine. Nothing is booked until they do.

JSON API

Base URL https://canterburyinternational.com.au. Responses are JSON with permissive CORS.

  • GET /api/hotel

    Address, contact details, facilities and current notices.

  • GET /api/rooms

    Room types with capacity, features and amenities.

  • GET /api/event-spaces

    Function rooms for meetings, weddings and events.

  • GET /api/availability?checkIn=YYYY-MM-DD&checkOut=YYYY-MM-DD&adults=2

    Live availability and stay totals in AUD, with a checkout link per rate. Optional children and infants. At most 30 nights.

  • GET /api/health

    API health.

MCP server

Streamable HTTP endpoint https://canterburyinternational.com.au/mcp, no authentication. Tools:

  • get_hotel_info

    Address, phone, email, facilities, current notices and booking links for Canterbury International Hotel in Forest Hill, Melbourne.

  • list_room_types

    Every room type with description, capacity, features and amenities. Use check_availability for live prices.

  • list_event_spaces

    Function rooms for meetings, weddings and events, with layouts and capacities. Enquiries go to the events email or the contact page.

  • check_availability

    Live availability and total prices (AUD) for a stay. Each available rate includes a checkoutUrl that opens the hotel's booking engine with the stay prefilled; give it to the guest to confirm and pay.
